SDBC is once again participating in Operation Christmas Child. This mission is to provide local partners around the world with shoeboxes filled with:

• Something to love

• Something to wear

• Something for school

• Something to play with

• Something for personal hygiene

• Something special

  As a means of reaching out to children in their own communities with the good news of Jesus Christ.

4 ways you can be involved:

• Collect a shoebox from the church foyer and fill it with items according to the above list (Boy or Girl). Return completed shoeboxes to the church foyer by Sunday 19th October.

• Donate funds in the receptacle provided to cover the delivery and processing of the boxes. Each box costs $12.50 to deliver.

• Pack a shoebox online. Go to www.samaritanspurse.org.au for this option.

• Pray for the safe delivery of the boxes, and for the children who will receive these boxes to be open to hearing about Jesus.
